For this fused glass plate, I cut a strip of clear glass and added various colors of glass stringers, which are very thin, and glued each one to the clear glass at even intervals. After that, I fused the stringers to the clear glass. Meanwhile, I cut out two pieces of white glass to go on either side of the clear strip with stringers. I also cut a 12″ square piece of clear glass the size of the entire fused glass plate.
I assembled all the different pieces and fused them together. To get the shape of the fused glass plate, I slumped the glass into a mold.
There are a lot of steps to this fused glass plate, but it was worth it.
