Fused Glass Plate – Black Iridized and Stringers on Clear

This fused glass plate was a lot of fun to design and make.  I cut out two pieces of clear glass 10 inches square.  I added a layer of thin black iridized glass in an odd shape, meaning not square or rectangular 🙂  I added various lengths of black stringer on the clear glass and fused it all together.  The black iridized glass pushed out, so the edges were uneven.  I ground the edges even and put the fused glass plate back in the kiln for a fire polish.  It turned out great!
