Dichroic Fused Glass Plate

Dichroic Fused Glass Plate

This dichroic fused glass plate seemed to glow when we had it displayed at our craft booth.  This glass plate would catch the eye of a lot of people from several booths away.  We would see them walk directly to our booth to get a closer view of the dichroic glass.  They had many comments about it, such as “wow, this is sooo beautiful” or “I can’t believe all the different shining colors”!!

Dave cut the dichroic glass into the different shapes.  Then, he painstakingly washed each piece and glued them into position.  He did an amazing job!  A gallery bought this fused glass plate a couple of months ago and I saw it there yesterday.  Hard to believe someone hasn’t snatched it up, yet!

My husband designed this fused glass candle holder, or, as I like to call them – a candle bridge.  He selected the glass and cut it to size.  The glass is a Special Production from Bullseye.  We bought it at their store and they have quite a few special production glass that isn’t in their catalog.

Since my husband doesn’t feel comfortable setting the program for the kiln, I do all of it.  Every once in awhile we collaborate on a fused glass candle holder or some other glass piece.  Aren’t we a good team?!
