How I Sold My Favorite Glass Piece!

Play on Red Glass Vase

Remember this vase I did a few weeks ago?  I posted it on this blog at that time.

Anyway, I wanted to tell you what happened to this vase.  I had a booth at the Ashland Art Festival and had this vase on the front table (photo of my booth is also posted a couple of days ago).  A very nice lady from Montana was looking at my glass and told me she loved everything.  She wanted to get something, but couldn’t decide which glass piece to get.

After awhile, she finally asked me what “MY” favorite glass piece was.  I told her that this vase was my favorite one.  So, she bought it!!

It was sad to see it leave my possession, but the glass vase will look so nice in her home.

I can always make another one like it, but it wouldn’t be exactly the same.  What do you think?  Should I make another vase like this one?  Or should I use different colors for the same vase?  Please let me know what you would like to see me make!!

I stumbled across your web site and seen the vase you called your favorite, that you sold. I just wanted to say that you can not duplicate the vase because the glass will react differently. I think you should make another in red and also try a navy or royal blue also. Please let me know when you make one especially if you make one in blue. I can be contacted at taxidermist@embarqmail.com THANKS

Thanks for the great suggestions. A navy or royal blue vase would be beautiful!

If you would like to make an order for a blue vase, just let me know. My email address is dmasters@wildblue.net
